OK so my car has never before got past 1/4 the way up the gauge. I went to clean my gauge faces today and i took the needles off. i put my needle on where i though it was before at the zero line and now my car hits the red zone in like 2 sec. im pretty sure its not over heating is there a way i can tell? thge car drives normally... only i only went for like 2 min while it was on the red zone cause i just made a short trip.

do i know need a new gauge or do you think its the needle that screwed.........

 

re check your grounds...

 

on what? it was fine like 30 min before i played with the gauge. no my gauge hits the top and wont move.

 

run an external temp guage to be sure

 

check underdash fuses 15a?, and temp sensor

 

Reposition the needle so it reads what it always has.

 

ahhh i forgot to plug in one of the things in the back. kinda funny before i fixed it whenever i turned right with the blinker it bounced the temp needle about .5 inch at a time. also it went up with RPM like a tach? weird but its fixed know thx guys
