ok so my i was rippin on the car down a road and then my buddy behind me tells me my reverse lights stayed on, but when i put the car in 5th it'll turn off. So once i got home i looked at my taillights and sure enough the reverse stayed on and it would go off when i put it into 5th gear. Could it be the sensor on the transmission?

 

check your wiring and sensor

 

either a sensor or something is loose.
same thing happened to a friends ef.
