PIC, KSport, or D2 Coilovers?
I own a 1998 Dx Coupe, I'm saving up to upgrade my suspension, coilovers first, then cambers, Lca's, subframe, and tie bar in time. I want a stiff ride for my car which is daily driven, please keep that in mind, and I want the option to slam the car. I like D2 because its 36 way adjustable and lowers up to 4 inches. I like KSport because all i hear is good reviews and the price is a bit less than my other options, and the drop is good. PIC seems to be ahead in this race because they come pre-tuned at 8kF/6kR rates which from my research is perfect stiffness and I dont know exactly how low PIC drop goes but should be sufficient. Help me out guys!

If your going to want to go very low, 8k is not going to be high enough of a spring rate for an ek in the front. Im running 8k in the front with stock UCAs and BARELY tucking tire and i have dents in my shock tower
Out of those 3 PIC is definitely the best. They are backed by almost anyone who buys them and to top it off, they are on this forum answering technical questions!

I agree with this guy. LoL.
K-Sport and D2 are the same garbage...go with the PIC or Koni/GC if you want quality and durability. Both have been proven at the track.
If you simply want stiff and pretty **** to match bars and LCA's and subframe braces then go with the anodized crap.

I pretty much lump KSport, D2, and Function/Form all in the same basket: cheap@$$ Taiwanese-made crap.
Out of the bunch you listed, PIC most definitely. But you should also check out Koni/GC. If you want to be able to slam the car, get the front upper mounts, which should run you about $950 total. You can also choose what spring rates you want. Costs a bit more than other options, but those Koni Sport shocks WILL outlast any of that cheap junk. I can promise you that.

Well, don't I just feel like I'm down with the big lunch table...PIC's are on my car as well.
Hey, don't miss out on AMR. I've spoken with the guy, and while we don't have the best relationship, I still feel pretty good about his product claims. He really says he's done some R&D refining his spring rates and valving combinations. Also, he definitely says that his housings and machining are second to none out there. Priced right in there with PIC and not so "bandwagon'y".

Thanks for all the answers guys, i appreciate them. What if I was going for a slam ride and stiffness and car would be driven daily what would you guys recommend?
Wow I like your attitude, I would look into the GC/Koni with top hats in the front with custom spring rates 550F/450R that set up will be around $950 shipped. Reason for that one is good ride quality with quality parts and LIFE TIME WARRANTY. If you feel the need for full coilover than look at PIC selects and AMR. When you order the AMR's it will take 3-5 days before shipping because they will build them to your specs so if you want 750LBS springs they will valve the shocks to those specs. Once again LIFE TIME WARRANTY. Those are a little more expensive $1200 shipped.
Also for the other suspension parts that you were asking about,
LCA's if you need to replace them then Function 7 once again LIFE TIME WARRANTY (you can see were I'm going with this)
ASR subframe brace if you have a larger than OEM SI sway bar, if not save the $$ for the strip bar.
Lower tie bar - if your gonna do the ASR subframe brace than no need for this. If not any bar will pretty much do.

What is the main reason you want to upgrade your suspension? So the car will handle better or so you can slam it on the ground? If its the latter choosing a suspension setup based on performance won't matter much since you'll be more or less murdering the handling anyways.

hmm yeah, it would take many thousands to make that happen. if it's even physically possible, which I doubt. It would take much custom chassis work to get enough suspension travel with adequate axle clearance to get a decent ride on a Honda.
My bad it wasn't shipped. Andy if I am not supposed to post this up since it was a pm I will take it down asap. But he did say about $60-80 bucks more for shipping to Hawaii.
