I bought this crx like 3 month ago, the car was starting really nice, until the alternator went out, change the battery, change the alternator, but after that the car sometimes did started, sometimes I had to wait like 20 minutes......

I knew when was the car was going to start or not, you could hear the pump working, now It got to the point it is really hard or I have to be extremely lucky so the car will start....

do you guys thinks is my fuel pump, the main relay or posible fuel filter?


maybe a fuse? I dont know....please help me out...

Main relay is what I would look at. Is it hot or cold when it is starting? Are the cables good between alt and batt?

 

Yeah that sounds like a Main Relay to me as well.

 

where can I get a cheap main relay at???

junkyard, pocket it and you're good ....check your distributor as well.

 

my friend has a 1988 crx hf, mine is a dx, will both be the same? that way I can use his to find out if that my problem

also, where is the main relay pump located at?
