piston rings
hey i have cp pistons for an ls motor with low compression and the top ring broke as i was installing them. Is there any way i can use the stock rings and not run the risk of melting them? any other ideas would be appreciated thanks

you need A TOP COMPRESSION RING thats fits that fits that pistion so yes a stock one will fit if its brand new and is a 81mm ring if your useing a 81.5 mm pistion that you need a ring that fits that piston.
