Default Removing back Bumper..89 Civic HB

Ok I have looked at it kinda and was wondering if there is a way to rmove the back bumper support not the cover. I got the cover off and I was wondering how to get actual bumper off. Thanks, also is there any way to make it so it is easy to take off and reinstall. I did a search and came up with nothing.

The rear bumper, inculding the cover, can be removed fairly easily. First remove the (4) philips head screws in the fender well. Then locate and remove the (4) 12 mm nuts. These nuts are located inside the rear tail light access covers, one on either side and in the spare tire well. They are a dome shaped nut, the stud does not stick through. Be sure to disconnect the wiring to the license plate light before completely removing the bumper unless you are good at wire splicing.
