94 accord coupe dot matrix tint problem!
Just had my car tinted yesterday and the back window looks pretty bad at the top(dot matrix) and another 1" line defect close to the matrix, and a spot not completly covering the window at the bottom corner. I wasnt aware of this issue and the tint shop didnt tell me until after it was done, kinda mad that they didnt give me any options or even tell me about it. Ive heard of using vinyl, painting the matrix, or gluing it at the top, or wet sanding the matrix with 600 grit. Wet sanding the matrix with a 600 grit and a sanding block sounds good but my antenna is integrated through the matrix(looks just like the defroster but its separate) so that doesnt sound like a good idea. Anyone solve this to look good on a 5th gen coupe?

When I bought my 95 it had tint on it already. Now I do not know how they did it, which of course does not really help you a whole lot, but the dot matrix is still there and it is on there and looks fine, so it is possible if thats what you need to know. Hope this helps somewhat.
thanks for trying, went back to the shop and they set up for their best tinter from another location to redo it on Monday. They said he could do it and make it look good, so lets see...
