4.26 and MFactory makes a 4.64 and 5.15 IIRC and you may find some 4.71s out there. Can't remember who made them though. Houseman maybe?

http://www.teammfactory.com/gearcalculator.php

input your ratios and your final drive/tire size and see how your speed per gear changes

4.266, actually. Which rounds to 4.27.

Not sure, but dont you want a taller gear for turbo? 4.06 is the Accord fd. Or H23 trans 4.26 fd has wider intermediate ratios. Would these options be better for turbo? I know Team MF sells a 4.0 fd for b series specifically for turbo applications.

OP, Since you're boosted, you want a lower # or at least taller gears. Lots of boosted Luders go with the H23 tranny. Here's the complete list you will want to research.

The difference between the H22 and H23 isn't noticeable by most......I have driven with 4 different H series trans.....Can barely tell except for 2-3mph here and there.

Now F22/F23......thats a different story!.....My friends H22 with F22 trans didn't hit VTEC in 2nd till 50mph. Sucked.....

I bet that was NA. It shouldn't suck if his car was boosted.

My previous powerplant was a blacktop H22 with a GUDE PERFORMANCE head and a 97 Accord trans. The car is lightened, 80 mph in 2nd gear! It was sick. Especially on the freeway. Nothing could touch me on the freeway. Im considering dropping my Euro-R trans in place of an F trans.

Well, N/A in a heavier Lude, Its not going to impress you. If you boost it, you will probably prefer the f22 trans with the taller 4.06 fd. Try it out. F22 trannies are plentiful and low priced. 94-97 Accord 5spd will bolt right up.

Naw man! It would light it up from a stop. The car is a lightweight 92 EG. Most of the street races I actually got into were from a roll anyway. Around 35 mph, too fast for the competition to start in 1st, too slow for 2nd. This was pretty much where my car came alive! Yeah 1/4 mile was off 1.1 seconds from my setup now. Although, now, Im running a Red Top Euro-R, better suspension, and its tuned. But the trap speeds are actually pretty close.

The only reason to go for a longer final gear is to achieve a higher top speed in each gear. Boost != Longer Gears

You car will accelerate faster (if you have the traction) on a shorter geared transmission. Play around with the gear calculator and determine what max. speeds are acceptable to you.

Tip: Don't gear your tranny to hit 170mph when all you will ever do is 120mph

94-97 Accord 5spd will bolt right in. With no problems. Good hint from MFactory- H23 trans is a good bet too. Kronn 98SH suggested H23 trans as well.
