Default nsx caliper question

i searched a little and couldnt find my answer but what year did the nsx calipers with the 2 different sized piston come on i measured it today one is 1 3/8" and the other is 1 5/8". which is better the 2 dif sized pistons or the same sized pistons? thanks in advance

If it is a two-piston caliper, the lead piston is typically a smaller diameter than the trailing piston and they are directional.

Lead Piston ---> Trailing Piston
