Failed alternator, leaving your lights on? Try this, turn on your, and pull the battery, if it shuts off, its probebly your alternator. Can anyone back me up on that?

Well, if the system is fine, disconnecting the battery should not do anything, and everything should work fine because now the electrical system are running off the spinning of the alternator...this I know for fact.

yeah check for corrosion in the alternator plug...

i solved my problem by sticking tin foil in 2 of the plugs and it fixed most of the problem

ok...the battery was dead so i recharged it and was new again....no lights were on no doors were open...the next day it was dead again...but everytime i tried to start it, it got worse, meaning the battery was dying more and more until it was toally dead again...my fuses are messed up...the PW/PL dont work...could that be it?...or should i just get a new alternator?

the battery has seen its last days, it will not hold a charge. The fuses being blown should create less draw from the battery not more. Replace the fuses and the battery.
