Default '90 CRX Si Drive Axle Won't Come Off

I'm trying to take out the driver side axle and no matter what I do, it won't come off. Well, it come loose about an inche and that's it. I even tried to fry it out with a small fry bar and no luck. Any idea?

Are you trying to get it out of the hub or tranny?

Do you have the suspension taken apart to allow room for the axel to come out

You might have Fried it to long with that Fry Bar, and now it's to crispy.

Thanks. Now, it make sense. The weight of the axle may have caused it to get cauhgt at the opening because of the tight clearance.

When I have that problem I just take the pickle fork stick between the tranny and axel and give it a puch and it should pop out

pry the axle from the tranny with a descent sized pry bar, then use a 5lb hammer and whack the axle shaft a few times while prying...POP! itll come right out
