I have a stock 91 CRX Si that won't start. I was thinking of taking the starter out of my stock 92 Civic Si and putting it in the CRX to see if it is the starter that need to be replaced. Can anybody tell me if this should work?

thanks i'm going to swap it out right now.

 

before you swap it out you should just try and get it cranking from the engine bay by running a 12v wire to the small starter signal wire at the starter. if it works then the starter is fine and your problem lies elsewhere. if it doesnt do anything then go ahead and swap the starter out.
