Default ** Quick Help with MTF**

I just went to a dealership and the guy told me that they didn't use MTF on the old cars, that Honda started using just a few years back. They just used 10w30. He also said he wouldn't recommend me put MTF in my trans because he wouldn't recommend me mixing the 2 fluids. WTF???
I thought Honda always used MTF, but 10w30 was another alternative just not as good. Please give me some help with this because I wanted to change out the trans fluid and now I'm stuck.
Should I use MTF or just stick with 10w30 like he said????
Thanks,

Haha, go back to the dealership and tell him to go get a job at the chevy dealership. Ignore him and go get the Honda MTF. When I had the cable Ys1 trans, my trans hated the 10-30 and loved the Honda mtf.

Are you guys sure. You know the dealer is usually 99.9 % of the time wrong, but what about if this is the .01%?? j/k
Thanks for the info guys. I was pretty sure that was the case but my brother was kinda skeptical since it was a Honda dealer that told him this.

I was at my local Honda dealer the other day and saw their bottles of MTF and asked about it, the guys there said that the Honda MTF works the best, I've heard it so many times on here that you can bet that when I'm ready to put in new fluid I'm gonna spend the extra little bit of cash on the Honda MTF.
