Default help with exhaust

hey guys i have a 2000 s2000 with 30,000 miles on it. it was my uncles who, as you can tell, never drove the thing. I have it now and i am looking at putting a full exhaust system and an intake on it. for the exhaust I want it to sound nice and clean. I don't want to turn the car into a ricer and have a cheap exhaust that sounds like crap. I need some suggestions on what exhaust. I am looking and future turbo but only have the money for the exhaust right now so I'm holding off on the header and intake. thanks for any suggestions

any muffler and resonator/exhaust system that you spend a decent amount of money on will not sound like crap. i spent 70 on a resonator(vibrant) and 200 on a muffler(apexi ws2) and had it welded for 100 and it sounds very nice. just seek the proper advice.

No exhaust will really give you any power, I saw a thread on s2ki a full amuse system (probably 3500+) and made like 3 HP.

if you want it to sound good now, it'll mean probably getting a different exhaust to what you'll need when you're turbo - if that's cool, then a second hand HKS would be perfect for now - sounds great

single will give you more hp gain over dual. look into the T1R single exhausts. they have a nice deap tone and give you better than average hp gain but are more expensive.
