Interested in hearing the different 90mm piston weights out there and who the manufactor was. Some companys can get them lighter than others but why?
I'm sure I dont have to tell you this, but Most companys have just one design and add/delete features to it Ie:coating, oil/gas porting . .
To really get the weight down on the pistons you pretty much have to come up with your own design. . You can get most to make you a smaller wristpin, different skirt design thats where the weight comes into play. Now the particulars are way above my knowledge level but thats the basics.

Exactly, Most will run a D series wrist pin, shorten the skirts, and then remove material from the under side of the dome. I've seen however that some company's can get there pistons quite lighter than others, for instance company (A) can get a 90mm piston to weigh 340 grams any lighter will be structurally unsound. But company (B) can get the weight down to 280-300 grams. Do we have any piston specialists out there that can help or possibly add some insight?
Does anyone have a 90mm piston that weighs 280-300 grams?

I have some 90mm K-series pistons that are 283 grams. They are underhead milled, small domes, super short compression height, and tiny wrist pins. You could probably get some into the 270 range but it is all give and take.
We ran 90mm custom arias pistons in an all motor car street class car. I have the piston and rod assembled on my desk. As mentioned previously it has the smaller diameter wrist pin and we got some serious internal milling done to shave weight. Sorry I cant be of more help.
