Default Performer X install

We all know the performer is kinda a pain to install. I am down to one last mod to make everything fit and am wondering if anyone else has had this problem.

The return line on my aftermarket FPR is pinched by the long/fat intake mani's runner. Its not enough clearance to fit the return line on without a really bad kink in the line.

So do i need an aftermarket fuel rail?
A different FPR that will give more clearance?

Anyone that runs this mani, please chime in, I'd like to have the car running soon.

Hit it with a blow torch and bend it gently...
or how about flipping it over 180 degrees and running a longer fuel return line?
Some pics would seriously help though

Dunno if this helps as the lines aren't connecting, but here it is on a customers engine with the Rosko Racing fuel rail and AEM FPR.

Or maybe a small adapeter plate that turns the fpr a few degrees, or a spacer that will raise it up a little?

This would be the easiest to do, but might that do internal damage to the FPR?
It seems that flipping it 180 would not help since my FPR is equally long on either sides where it attaches.

I'll snap a pic and post it up.

The flash makes it look different than in person. The nipple is about 1 maybe two mm from the runner. Bending It would work if I knew it would not damage the fpr.

I could cut down the nipple and run a longer fuel line, but It would not have a bead roll and I would hate for it to pop off and spray e85 on the header.

It seems to me that there are some honda fuel pressure regulators that have that outlet bent, but im not 100%. If i remember correctly, you can also use D series FPR's, maybe theyre shaped a little differently...
I think I have bent that part before w/o any problems. Id try with an extra one first though, but im preeeetty sure they do have some flex in them...
Have you contacted the manufacturer?

I trimmed mine to fit. An ITR fuel regulator has the appropriate bend.
