FS 91 Crx Si OEM $1900 WV (UPDATE)
Barboursville, WV 25504
$1900 or trade
I'm willing to drive to neighboring states for a possible sale/trade depending on price/trade
1991 Crx Si
5 speed of course
169k miles
brand new tires
everything works
only mods are intake, wood steering wheel, and jvc cd player. Everything else is totally oem.
What it needs: 1st off let me say you don't have to do anything to it if you don't want too cause its totally dependable where ever you want to go. I've put about 600 miles a week on it the past 3 weeks i've owned it if that gives you an idea but on with the list.
Needs/issues:
Valve seals are worn. Uses a small amount of oil. In the last 1800 miles i've put on it i've added a quart of oil. Only time you see smoke is in the upper rpms 5k-7k.
Passenger front spring is broken at the base. About an inch of it is broken. You can feel it a lil weaker on that side when taking curves hard, otherwise no issues.
Has multiple nicks in the paint that have started to rust. See pics.
Has holes on deck lid where wing used to be. See pics.
Has multiple chips on bumpers and faded paint on roof. See pics.
Has small hole in driver seat, cracked climate control, tears in door panel. See pics.
Has a cracked passenger front turn signal and a driver front bumper light. See pics.
Has a creased passenger fender when the door has made contact at some point.
Thats about it, i don't think i'm leaving anything out. Runs good. After the intake i went from 330 miles per 9.3-9.4 gallons to 380. Gets right at 40mpg. Has good power and trans is smooth as butter in all gears. Interior overall is very clean. Only has 1 rear speaker at the moment (the way it was when i got it). Again everything works (switches, lights, sunroof, etc). AC is recharged with do it yourself kit and holding pressure fine. Air isn't that cool though. I think its just needing a good recharge from an actual R134a AC machine that way it'll pull a vaccum for a proper fill. Engine bay is very very clean.
Fun lil car with some definate potential. $1900 or as always with me a possible trade. Trades are open to cars, trucks, maybe even an old school crotch rocket. lol Let me know what ya got.
pics are super dirty, sorry

Update: TRANS SHIFT PERFECT!!!!!!!
AC CHARGED AND WORKING!!!!!!!
Long story short the trans only had 1/2 quart of well overused worn out fluid in it. I refilled with Honda MTF and now it shifts like butter in all gears. I've put 600 miles on it since doing this and its a joy to shift and drive.
I put the belt back on the ac, replaced an o-ring, and charged the system. It holds pressure perfectly but the air still isn't that cool at all. The ac clutches kick in, no leaks, etc. I'm thinking maybe it just needs a recharge from an actual r134a ac machine that way it gets vaccum for a proper recharge.
There was a super bad rain storm this past week and while driving in it i noticed a small drip from what seemed like the rearview mirror area. Been through this before and pretty sure that one of the sunroof drainage tubes is just stopped up but i'll be giving it attention in the next couple of days.
As i keep driving it people its getting fresher and fresher! Buy or trade with confidence i'm an honest guy! Keep the trades coming or somebody throw me $1900 for this beauty. I need a truck or a car with a backseat. Thanks
