Default lil bit of water on flywheel and clutch......

well i have my transmission out a lil bit and the clutch and flywheel is exposed and i took the hood off for working room and i just used a cover (not a car cover) but just a cover big enough to cover everything....

last night while i was sleeping there was a heavy rainstorm and the cover leak some water into the engine bay and well... some water got on the flywheel and such and just wondering.... is this bad or can i just let it air dry off?

should be fine. If you are concerned just spray some brake cleaner down there. That will ensure its clean and dry.

if its a old clutch and you have the tranny out get a new one, i dont think the rain would hurt it that bad you shoult be fine, but you could take off and look, clean it up with brake clean then see what you think should be done

well if you got water on it, do you have a dust shield on the tranny/block?
