What he meant to say was if you don't have anything constructive to say, don't say anything at all. Hope you fix your Accord soon, wish I could get an H23A engine.

and checked timing and thats good too
any more ideas???
codes are ect, iacv, vtec spool...and none of those would make the car do this
I just put in new spark plug wires and spark plugs and its still doing the same thing
fuel pressure or injectors would definatly do it too. the pump may be starting to go out. also check the timing belt it may have jumped a tooth or 6
i fixed the problem thanks guys and............. Thank you Mr. elder "Kronn 98SH" for the wonderful useful knowledge and info you provided. You know, its people like you that make others leave HT. Please do everyone a favor and dont give HT a bad rep
so i'm guessing that when you rev your car it just boggs down and maybe sometime if you ease into the throttle it might work. Here is your problem it sounds like to me that your not getting any signal back from yout tps to your computer it might be a bad tps (throttle position sensor) here is a way you can check get a volt meter and check the voltage at a idle and check it at wide open throttle at a idle you should be getting 0.5 volts. wide open throttle you shoud have aleast 5 volts and do this with the car not running but have the key on in the on position also you can try testing the resistance of the sensor if you don,t get a reading right away try to play around with the wires while you are testing it if you still dont see and numbers but 0.00 then you probaly have a fauilty sensor but make sure when you test for resistance that nothing and i mean nothing is on in the car. My boy's car was doing the same thing and we fixed it this way. good luck to ya man hope this helps you out hit me back if you still have problems peace
