91 civic sedan LX 100% stock d15 with 210k miles. I would like to eventually see a low 13 second 1/4 mile time but by building up a D series and boosting. So my question is this. Should I spend the money to rebuild the bottom end of my D15? Mini Me swap? Or should I get ahold of a D16 vtec instead of spending the money on a rebuild and mini me? Im already figuring on finding an SI or EX transmission and converting to mpfi. What should I do? Thanks

 

D16s are a dime a dozen, and it's alot easier on your conscious to build a motor when your car isn't sitting w/o a motor. Definitely convert to MPFI either way you go.
