so guys when i first got my em1 i didnt kno much about it so i let my boy talk me out of my front lip if not if but when i get another lip should i keep it black with the matchin fog lamps or get it painted to blu

 

Match the lip to the rest of the car since the car has painted trim, mirrors and license plate garnish.

Oh, and punch your friend for being a greedy dick.

which lip are u looking in to getting?

 

With the side color matched, definately paint the lip. It it were like a Sol and had the black plastic side trim, I would say to leave it black (unless the trim had been painted to match). It just looks cleaner if you match it to the look of the rest of the trim. If the trim is painted - paint it.

Btw, in case you don't already know, that front lip was standard on the '99-'00 Si (EM1) and the '99-'00 Type R (EK9). It was optional on other coupes in the US and other trims outside the US.

So if you find a stock Type R (NOT Type R Style) lip then it's the same.
