Just finished rebuilding a y7, but i can't for the life of me get it to bolt up to the transmission. Took the starter out.. I'm aware of the dowel(sp?) pin, so i figure it has to just be the angle.. I'm wondering if anyone has any certain method they use to do this?

 

i Usually put the transmission on it and put a bolt in it then start tightening it up but make sure the dowel pins aren't in the way. I start one on top and one on bottom and just tighten them up..
