im going to get my 97 boosted hatch tuned but dont know how to install the box so ima have my friend do it at his house am i able to drive home? or what? lmk asap

you can do an ohm test on the injector to be sure which type you have.

 

if the car has high impedence injectors aka stock then NO you will not be able to drive it home on the stock injectors with the resistor box in place.

Its very simple to wire the resistor box. remove the deadend plug cap located on the driver side near firewall. take an electrical tester and test resistance to find the four yellow/black wires out of the 8 that are there that go to the injectors. now take those four wires out of the clip and put them to the resistor box, the one wire coming uot of the resitor box goes back to the dead end plug and your good to go.

Even though its not supposed to be like that it has worked for me fine in the past with stock injectors and resistor box

 

Yeah it can and more than likely will fry the injector drives in the ecu, not recomended

 

the guy that might to the resistor box said i can run stock injector with the box but i didnt know so i came on here

so dont run the resistor box with my stock 97 civic injectors?
