Default what TCM to buy? 90-91 works in a 93?

alright, my D4 light was blinking a while back, and I noticed it seemed to be revving higher while cruising. it went away on its own for a while, but now its blinking again, and I once again dont have 4th gear. so I am going to try to replace the TCM and see if it fixes it. I have checked the codes but couldnt find where to look up the trans codes, ECU codes are posted EVERYWHERE, but not TCM codes?

also, I did have the loss of speedo once, but only for a few seconds one day, off/on for about a minute another day and thats all Ive noticed. could it still be the TCM?

on ebay theres alot that say 90-93 in the title but in the auction they say 90-91.

I know with civics 92 went to OBD1, but I read somewhere accords went to OBD1 in 90. so will anyone work or do I have to get a specific TCM model for my car?

93 LX.

i did search some but I have to drive from AZ to san diego in a couple weeks and really want to have a 4th gear when I do, so I need to get it solved ASAP.

thanks

i have a 92, tried a tcu from a 90 model , did not work, it is my recomendation you get one from a 92 or 93 lx or dx only and it should have a pxo number 721 or 722. 722 as i understand it is the best one because they had many problems with the 721. i put 4 different ones in my car because the junk yard told me they would work from 90 to 93, this didnt work for me. i made em find and pull one from a 92 and it had the 722 number and worked. done this with two cars, se and ex will not work.
