Default **89 Si kill switch issues i need help ASAP!!!**

kay so.
Today me and the homie aaron decided to install a kill switch. we used the ignition wire to the fuel pump and spliced into it with the kill switch .. Mission accomplished. or so i thought. We give it a test, stsrt the car and turn the switch off.C ar stops running, Perfect! Job done . Turn the switch back on fuel pump wont kick on. so where like WTF so i take the kill switch off and just resoldered the wire so everything should be good right? Wrong the fuel pump still wont turn on and the car was always pulling a #6 code on the ecu but not anymore. Ive spent 3 hours alone trying to make her run with 4 people that are mechanincs and myself and have no idea whats wrong

sounds like you burned something up, maybe a short somewhere. i had a kill switch on my ef, installed it by connecting the ground to the sending unit, but i never used the fuel pump wires. why would you hook it up to the fuel pump?

take off the killswitch and see if it will turn on

Run a straight 12 to the yellow wire at fuel pump if the car starts then, check fuses, re solder main relay soldering points. or check for bad connection/fried wires.

Check fuse fuse #14 under the steering column. It is labeled "Alternator Solenoid" but it also feeds the fuel sending unit.

one time kill switch. not sure what you did, but check your fuses. does the ecu flash at all?

btw, i used a relay on my kill switch and it's powered by the fuel pump wires...works great

I think there is some electronic failure. I am sure it is the only problem. Get it checked by some professional properly.
