so i found the female pigtail at bestbuy. wired everything up but and it works...except the lights behind the volume **** and the bass/treb ***** do no light up?? so i pulled it out and let my buddy put it in his 2000 si, the car it is supposed to be in and everything works, including volume ****, numbers....light up perfectly. i bought the clip for a 99 and a 2000 thinking there might be a slight difference. nada. its color to color and i doubled check. frustrating

 

Double check illumination wire. My friend had this same problem and he wired the illumination wrong, made no sense to me... Just somethin to check though. GL

 

check the wireing also it could just be the lights are out.
