I'm doing a Si motor swap in my STD 91 Honda Civic, and I have all of the parts I need for the motor swap, but I'm doing the Si tranny also. My Q is will everything must swap out 4speed to 5speed. I don't need to change any linkage or anything do I?

 

nope..you should be good..just make sure you use your stock axles...the si axles wont fit in your hubs... (I'm assuming std hubs are the same as hf)..

 

Yeh, the STD 4-speed hubs are too small to fit the Si axles. If you can, should go ahead and change to the Si hubs too, then you're all set for a B-series swap one day..

 

true SI axles wont work with the STD hubs.. but i believe the STD axles will work with the SI tranny.

 

yeppers i have std axles/hubs still. tranny side is all the same hub side is different
