Ok, to start er off. Like a dumba$$, i was doing the valve seals, and trying to keep the head on, and well needless to say, i dropped a valve in the cylinder by accident. Horray for me. So now i gotta pull the head, and imma replace the head gasket and bolts. My questions to all of you is what else should i replace while doing this job??? Cam Seals?? the timing belt and H20 pumped were changed 20k miles ago. Ill need a Intake Mani gasket, im trying to make a list for the parts store. Should i have the head machined while its off. Any Help is appreciated

i usually just get coolant, oil, oil filter, head bolts/head studs, IM gasket, and the head gasket.
you dont need the head resurfaced, but i would take it to a machine shop to make sure it doesn't need to be resurfaced. most shops wont charge just to check if it's flat.

 

how much u spend while doin all that???

 

and is thr a link u hav with proper instructions on changing the head gasket on this motor
