Default Lookin for a paint code.

Getting ready to paint my EF and I found a color that I like but havent been able to find the code for it. I do not need the exact same color but really close would be nice. Any help would be great. Also which is easier to spray SS or BC/CC?

looks almost like silverstone metallic from the s2k or some variation of a heavy mettalic dark silver. that color could be 1k different codes man, your just gonna have to pick one. base/clear is more forgiving if your a beginner since if you run the clear you can always wetsand and buff, and its pretty hard to run basecoat, just make sure you get proper coverage or youll see striping especially because of the nature of that type of paint. since that is such a heavy metallic, you want it to be a relatively cool day when spraying, below 75 degrees, or else the metallic tends to stand up and dry before it hits the surface and can look splotchy, the cooler it is with heavy metallics, the flatter it will lay cause theres less chance of it standing up and being dry before contact. Of course you want to be able to lay clear at a higher temperature but if you dont have a booth with heat control than well youll be having to deal with it. Also it not nearly as easy to fix screw ups in single stage cause sanding and buffing ss is a tough task to not ruin it, and if youve never sprayed single stage before, Than doing your car the first go around is not a good idea, you probably wont be happy.

def. a bad *** color....but as impatient said that color prolly has 1000 color variations.....just go to a paint supplier and ask them if they have a silver color chart and look at it and just pick from there
