i just got this Eg hatch from my uncle and its issue is that the rear brake lights are NOT working. When you step on the brakes the lights do not turn on.

What i did:

Tried new brake light switch, it is not the issue.
Checked all the fuses none of them are blown.
checked all light bulbs are all good.


Other Thoughts:

My brother in law speculates that i have a wiring issue. could this be?

Also is there another way to rig up the brake lights to something else to create another stationary brake lights?


Do you electrical and lighting gurus know how to help me? please do so!
