Default fuel gauge moves A LOT

im having trouble with my fuel gauge. ive searched but havnt been very successful. i may not be searching the right things, idk. but anyways, my fuel gauge likes to bob around. when im on the gas or sometiems even just cruisin it moves down about 3-5mm. about 10 mins later if im not as harsh on the gas, it moves bac up to where it was. any ideas of why?
any help would be awesome

id say get used to clicking your tripometer when you fill up your tank, learn (if you havent already) how many miles you get on a tank and go from there.
a fuel gauge is not a fuel meter, when it works properly its only a rough estimate anyway.
unless of course you want to go pulling your fuel tank/pump apart

The fuel gauges like to go down more then they like to come back up. When you accelerate fast the gas moves around and it messes with the fuel gauge. It's normal, there is no baffle to stop the gas from moving around in the OEM gas tank.
