hi guys i am soon gonna be getting a traction bar for my 91 hatch and i just wondering if it clears the crank pully and tranny better then the stock cross member with the radisarms thanks guy if yah got any pics that would help alot thanks
I cant speak for all of them, but the Explicit Speed bar that i has, fits much better than the stock cross member. It mounts in the stock cross member holes, and the tow hook bolts too. It is box tube which is far superior than a round tube as it wont deflect when u launch. My bar sits almost under the radiator support and give much more clearance. You will be happy with any one you get over the stock cross member.

thanks man wats a good brand for a traction bar cuz i building a lsvtec turbo with a built tranny in mine and i like a good one thats will take a half hard launch.
Go witht the Explicit Speed one. ExplicitSpeedPerformance.net Theirs is the best one that i have found, and other people on here have pictures of bending some of the other competitors traction bars. the ESP bar is box tube so it wont bend, and mounts in one hole from the cross member, and uses the three from the tow hooks. It looks mean as hell from the front too. good luck with the build
