cheap turbo set, ebay.

i hear some people use Mitsubishi turbo manifolds, they'll fit, then fabricate the pipes.

False. First off, stock f22's can make 300hp provided the tuner knows what he's doing without much difficulty. It's close to it's limit, but it's absolutely do-able. Second, there is plenty of information through the search feature. But I'm bored so I'll just type up a quick bare bones setup. You're lucky you have a fourth generation accord because you can do a DSM setup very cheap. The DSM manifold needs a few holes redrilled to fit correctly to your car but the exhaust ports will match. For the turbo, you can do a 14b for a low price. Just make sure there is not shaft play in/out and side-side. You have to weld an oil return bung in your oil pan and tap off an oil feed source somewhere (either use an oil sandwich adapter or tap of the oil psi switch). An ebay intercooler and piping will be less than 200 bucks and efficient. Use w/e BOV you want. I chose a FORGE twin piston for 135 shipped to my door brand new. Get a Walbro 255lph and DSM 450cc injectors. Find someone who can weld you a downpipe and an exhaust. Boost gauge, AFR gauge, oil psi gauge. Last but absolutely not the least, GET A GOOD TUNE!!!!!!! NO SAFC piggy back bs. Go with Crome. It's free software to tune on and will do you a damn good job. I don't think I missed anything but I wrote this quickly so it's possible.

I'm in no way responsible for anything that goes wrong here lol.
I HIGHLY SUGGEST YOU START RESEARCHING BEFORE YOU EVEN THINK OF ORDERING PARTS!!!

Everything here looks good to me. Obviously there can be some small hiccups or changes you may have to make but thats all part of the process.

Only thing I would add is that for the AFR, I'd say go wideband if you can. It'll help you in the long run (tuning). Accord_raffi may have meant this too anyway.

haha i did mention it in the third to last line with all the other gauges. but ya just to reiterate, it is very important you get a wideband for tuning. your stock narrowband will be nowhere near sufficient. i've had people use narrowband for tuning and they would get the worst outcomes. Sometimes a narrowband will say your lean when you're pig rich, and sometimes it's the other way around. It's simply not accurate enough.

for that amount of power...i suggest you get pistons, rods, and sleeves...head work would really help in this build..hahah..im rockin a dsm setup....(manifold,big 16g evo turbo, injectors,...ebay piping..on a good tune)....im not making no 300hp...but its good enough for me...gl

Wow... thats all huh? haha

More props to ya, but I hope you are looking at other forum builds while you are doing this.

The full DSM kit that was listed is not really gonna cut it for that kind of power (Someone please correct me if I'm wrong, because I'll definitely be impressed). You will need to upgrade a few things including the turbo, injectors, and numerous engine internals.

Now, to answer your question, the turbo size is determined by where you want it to spool up at in the rpm range. This is all personal preference and depends on what your goals are.

Because you are looking for whp that is pretty lofty, you need a bigger turbo. However, you don't want one too big or you'll never feel it! With your engine and power goals, I'd suggest something that is around or lower .63 A/R (Usually found on 57 trim or less turbos). This will typically allow the turbo to kick in around 4000 and go up to 8000. Of course you can go lower if you aren't gonna do anything to bring your RPM limits up, but that will allow to most power with what you are working with.

just adding what i was told from some people who turbod their f22a in their accord. well the f22a flows better than the others, the head doesnt need work to hit 300hp, the sleeves are iron so their strong, but your piston glands arent, h23 arp head studs are rec if your going for 300+, your setup really determines how much power youll make, buy quality stuff once not cheap stuff 2+,and i repeat from others on here also what ive been told GET A GOOD TUNE from a professional tuner. good luck.
