i have a 92 prelude with the EL gauge conversion. the car sat for 10 months. i just got it back up and running and i know for a fact that before it sat, the tach worked. as we were working on it in the shop, the tach wasnt working. on our test drive, it started working. after about 10 mins of driving around, it started going crazy. bouncing up and down and now its not working at all. there is no movement. any ideas?

i searched but couldnt find any info.

Are you throwing any codes? about 2 weeks, my car did that and threw a code 17. replaced the speeed sensor and now everything is fine.

 

no codes at all.

 

ima mess with the speed sensor today and hopefully see if i can get somewhere.
