yes i want to boost my accord its a 96 lx i found a turbo kit on ebay i know not the best but i dont want crazy power just allitle more and i dont have enough fo a swap so just wondering what i would need to do it like do i need a different ecu or can i keep the original only want to push like 6 to 8 pounds..... the kit comes with manifold,turbo,wastegate,oil line kit,blow off valve,intercooler and piping,boost controler.. i know i have to have a downpipe made but anything else please lemme know thanks....

 

make sure to get it tuned

 

youre going to want an ecu that can be tuned. with the ebay turbo, you dont want to run too high boost, kit probably wont be able to handle it along with your stock block. i personally am a little sketchy about ebay turbos that are no brands.

idk how long your accords engine will last on that much boost whats the specs on the engine how many miles 8psi might blow ur **** in all honesty

if thats what your looking for for miles are unknown thing runs mint though im not worried about blowin it up cause i can get another one like that im actually thinkin 5 to 6 probly not much off a difference but ya..

 

f blocks are pretty strong. that car should be able to make 220-240 whp safely. and it is not boost that breaks things it is hp. so dont worry yourself over the psi.

 

so running 5-6 psi i should be alset casue ill still be under 200 horse most likely but ill see what happens im gonna try 6 psi but noone really helped me on if i have to change anything besides the ecu deal...so should i just be able to hook the turbo kit up make a downpipe and get a afc controler and be allset or thats what i really need to know if any sugestions please lemme know thanks....
