noob question. help.
If I rev the motor in neutral, it wouldn't move no matter what right? I'm trying to see if I need new motor mounts because when I let the clutch out from a stop, the motor starts torquing like a ****. I had a shop do the clutch and I noticed it happening after that. I assumed the new disc material was grabbing better which made the motor shake.
The motor usually moves when you rev it in neutral, that is, depending on how fast you rev it. Just take a look at your motor mounts and look for tears or to see if they are deteriorating.
yeah yours suppose to break that bad boy in before gunning it otherwise you would create grooves and the clutch will be uneven when wore down... at least thats a possiblity... and if you think its your motor mounts they do what dohctor B says by checking for detoriation. but to answer your question the car will not move in nuetral
oh lol. of course i broke it in haha. I think it is the front mount but I'm having a hard time getting a look at the material just cuz the damn turbo is in the way. I'll try to jack it up and look at it when it's not 100 degrees out.
