help with jdm abs problem
We are doing an out of province on a 1991 honda prelude from japan (92-96 usdm body style) the abs light is on and the tech jumped the service check connector and pulled no codes. the abs light only illuminates when vehicle is driven (after clearing codes) so pulling codes is not possible... anyone experience this problem before? my tech checked every speed sensor via the diagnostic connector under passenger seat.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, i talked to the customer and bought us the weekend to work with it
thanks

Did you actually compare wheel speed signals while driving? The red "brake" light isn't on is it? If the light comes on after you've been driving a while, was it when you applied the brakes? If the accumulator doesn't hold pressure then you should hear the pump cycle when you first start the car for the day. If the pump has to keep cycling to hold pressure it'll give you an abs light. Usually the light comes on pretty soon after you pull away if theres a brake problem at start up. Also, if you've ever had the rotors turned then its likely the sensors are covered in filings skewing pickup.
