I don't see a second O2 sensor in that system. You can check to see if the one in the manifold is shown.

when you changed the o2 sensor.. did you reset the ecu..?? if not.. the ecu still has that cel stored.. disconnect your negative battery terminal for a few minutes.. then connect.. see if that works..
yea i disconnected the battery but only for a few seconds and its the one in the header. what about the fuse i pulled that one to. the 7.5 and came on?

what eles is involved with heated oxygen sensor? not sure what the heated part of the 02 senor is? i have a manual for the car that i bought at pep boys. Would or is their anything eles that gos or works with the 02 sensor? any help would be really cool just trying to learn a lil and sucks with the light on all the time.
Is the O2 sensor you got a universal type or is it from OEM?
Also, from experience, you need to disconnect the fuse/negative battery cable for more than a few minutes even though it says to do it for 10 seconds in the service manual.

Universal O2 sensors don't work too well with Hondas. It's best if you get an OEM replacement.

bosch works decent i purchased one for 86 bucks from autozone... the heater on the o2 sensor is to bring the sensor to operating temps when its cold...
I tried a bosch universal on my 92 civic and it didn't work. I didn't measure the voltage at the time but the check engine light didn't go away after I reset the ECU. I've also heard other people having similar problems.
the thing about universal O2 sensors is the connector. Usually you have to make a splice. Your new connectors are prolly very poor conductors and have alot of resistance causing the O2 code. Try buying some new connectors, not the cheapo butt connectors. Also, make sure you wired it up correctly. Im not sure why you have 5 wires, most uni O2 ive seen only have 4. The heated O2 sensors have a heating element in them to allow for them to give a more accurate reading.
its also a d15z1 VX motor if that helps with my problem? yea i just unpluged it from the header and the other conector and pluged the new one in.
if it is a universal O2 sensor, it shouldn't have a connector... you should need to cut wires and splice them... Otherwise you bought an oem replacement for your vx, and your car might not be liking it.
