Default Existing EK PIC coilovers owners!!

I just order a set of PIC coilovers and when I receive it. I notice on the box it says for Model and Description: EG Selects damping adjustables. Did they sent me the wrong ones. I been trying to call PIC all day today and unable to get a hold of anyone. Every call is going to their voicemail. So far their customer services isn't all that great, since i can get a hold of anyone there at their company. Any owners receive anything similar to what I got? Should it be saying for Model and Description: EK Selects damping adujustables instead?

A certified PIC retailer told me that the only difference with the coilover is the rear lower forks(i think thats what there called.. the part that meets the LCA).... ek's have the two nuts on each side, and egs and dc2's don't there just smooth with the holes for the bolt to go thru them and the LCA... I have a dc2 and my PIC Apexis came with the box saying Ek.... even the coilover themselves say ek on the tag up under the forks on the shock itself. my retailer told me that its ok as long as you have the proper forks.( i think thats what its called)

heres the eg/dc2 fork

heres the ek fork

I hope this helps

the difference is the rear shock fork. It should have came with spacer those are used for the EK. The ek lca bushing is thinner and the eg/dc are thicker and dont use the spacer.
Dont own one but installed a couple of the coilvers and other coilovers doing the same things.

Here are the actual pics of the coilovers that I received. If anyone can confirm if these are infact for the EK.

Those are for EK's. I'm sure, as I put them together myself.

wait....so you didn't understand my post nor did you understand the post below mines which told you that the lower forks are the only way to tell? ignore all the information on the tag in the last 2 pics. the fork is what matters. your forks are ek forks. the box said eg and the coilovers say eg but your forks are for an ek which means PIC uses the same exact coilover for every single honda and just changes the forks around to match the orders that come in. now put em on and drive it.

Cool...just wanna make sure, since everything on the box and coilovers are label EG!!! Didn't want to put them on yet and deal with the BS if i had to send it back. Not sure why PIC would even label the box and coilovers for a EG. If it's for an EG then mark it as a EG. If its for an EK then mark it for an EK. Less confusion IMO for people spending 1g+ on some coilovers. Just cconstructive criticism ;-)

It cost more to re-label, labor and sticker making.

I use the same shocks for the same applications when it comes to the 92-00 Civics and 94-01 Integras. Not all Hondas.

yea I understand...thanks for clearin it up. I actually though about it after I posted and figured someone would take it the wrong way. I know that this keeps cost down but as far as the different wieghts of the cars( not that much really) coming in to play don't you think they should all actaully be vehicle specific?

I've figured the sprung and unsprung weights of all chassis that we've desgined coilovers for. If there's a need to do something different for a specific vehicle, it's been done.

Coilovers are on the car and it feels great! The PIC Selects replaced the KYB AGX/GC setup that I had and I can really tell the difference. I haven't really take it out for a long spin, but so far i'm pretty happy on how it handles.
