Default Check out this GSR head

I got a blown motor with a nice hole grenaded through the side of the block for a good deal. Pulled the head and this is what I found. Let me know what all should be replaced to be run again. I was thinking valve guides and valves? Can this bowl be cleaned up pretty easy. Doesnt look that bad in person

kinda hard to see the pic but is it messed up on the edges of the chamber? If thats all thats wrong that can easily be fixed. Id replace all the basics and get new guides and if the valves are messed up replace them

That's not bad at all, mine was worse and all it needed was 2 new valve seats and valves. Show it to your machinist, he will be able to tell you for sure though.

Based on the pic, that is very easy to fix.

thanks for the help guys. Quick question, whats the best valves, valve springs and retainers for the money. I dont want to dump a ton of cash, but a nice upgrade would be nice.

Tit retainers

If you are just looking at the cheapest price possible and want people to tell you that they're good, then yes, they're good.
