You won't get $10k for the EP3, so be prepared to pay an additional $3-4k to get the Type-S. If you can afford the transition, I would pick up the RSX in a heartbeat.

 

Sorry I was unclear, basically I'm asking, should I sell my EP3 and get the DC5instead? I figured I'd get like 6k at most for my EP3 then have to fork up 4k for the DC5. But then theres the dilemma of just doing a A2 swap into the EP3 instead...so yeah I dont know if its worth selling my car then buying his or not.

 

I'd rather have a swap in my EP than get the RSX, just my two cents.

I would just spend the 4k on swap. But that's just me.

 

I would say swap also you already have put some cash in to the ep might as well use that 4k for a motor

 

get the dc5 its worth it but tell youre friend to give it to you for $9,000

 

I'd keep the Ep3 however that's me. I drove my friend's RSX-S and it just didn't feel right.

 

Your friend is moving to China and needs all the money he can get. Lowball him. If he's a real friend he'll let it go for maybe less then $4,500. If I were in your shoes I'd workout a payment plan or something to get out of having an EP3. Goodluck

 

I think Ep's are great, but the RSX sounds like a better choice here. It has very low miles and it sounds like you are familiar with it since it's your friends' car and you've helped him with it. Good luck.

 

As much as I love the EP I agree with him.

 

Definitely get the RSX. Much better car overall (performance, refinement, etc) than an EP3. If anyone tells you otherwise, they're just biased towards the EP3.
