brake set-up
i'm in the market now for some new breaks and i wanted something good for a few laps and something that performes on the street. i want amazing pedal, quiet, and no dust. so i was almost sold on brake tech untill i noticed they don't sell anything for the 4th gen... i don't want to spend more than 1000 i know its cheap but i just want more than what i got! any good ideas?

I would just get some SS lines and good pads, maybe some slotted factory size rotors.. Most race pads I've seen are loud and dusty.. I don't really see a need for 4 or 6 pistion calipers in your case

We need more info...
What do you have now? 5th or 4thGen? If the latter, Si or VTEC Brakes?
There a quite a few factory options that you could do.
5thGen or 4thGen VTEC, Legend GS, NSX, or the one I did, S2000 Calipers on RSX-S 11.8" Rotors. Check the FAQ, there's threads on these.

Don't waste money on n00b stuff like that.
-First get some good pads (I like Hawk HPS), new fluid, SS lines, and rotors (if you need them).
-Then, if you can lock up the brakes easily, your tires are the weak point, so get some better tires.
-THEN if you still can't stop fast enough get bigger brakes.

i can't stop as fast as i want now! i have a 4th gen prelude si, h22 swap. the car puts down 200whp now, but its being built this fall, im starting with brakes. right now i have concept 7 rims and nitto neo gen tires, 205,40, r17
i need new rotors all the way around and a new front right caliper so this has also made me decide to upgrade first. i am gonna run ceramic pads, i just want to know which calipers and rotors, nothing drilled just slotted

In my experience most people go overkill on calipers at the expense of quality lines, fluid, and general maintenance items.
I have had great setups that consisted of nothing but VTEC calipers, cheap parts store rotors, SS lines, Motul fluid, and $100 Cobalt pads.....
Call Cobalt Friction and ask them what replaced their old GT Sport. More bite than the Hawk HP+ with 1/4 the dust and squeal.
I can't see buying 4-6 piston calipers if you're not racing it in Honda Challenge.
