ok taking a motor poll
if u had a 98 coupe with a sir b16 with lsd and a 92 hatch with the same motor. now the poll is for what motor to pick 1st. b16b for the coupe or k20 for the hatch? big decision here the one reason im hesitating the k20 is the only headers found for it removes the cat, and emmisions is a must. and the coupes b16 is obd1 not obd2 so its not inspectable it has a cel light that goes on and off. so what do you guys think?
ur not getting the point i want k20 haha. and i hate the lsd thats in both cars curently makes to much noise. and eventually ill have to k20 in the hatch and then the type r civic motor in the coupe. just dnt know what one to do 1st

um drunk driver totaled it at 530 am sunday morning..no pics sorry didnt take any, dnt wanna remember this. and yea i would laugh to if it wasnt me. and at least it was tot. from the rear an the motor was untouched. and yea i guess its a k20 for the hatchy now

you make no sense. you want a motor that won't pass your emissions, but emissions is a must for you. you have already made up your mind OP; what's the point of this thread?
the original post was type r for the coupe that has a sirb16 in it. or k20 for the sirb16 hatch. i didnt think it was a hard thread to follow, sorry no comprendo on ur end just forget it. im down to one car now so thread doesnt matter..man honda tech cracks me up how ppl dnt read.
and what motor wouldnt pass. the typr r or the k20. the k will pass but not if i put a header on it. the coupe is the one that wouldnt pass it was obd1 motor in a obd2 car is y i was goin with the type r for it. so what makes no sense ????
you're whining about how your K swap headers won't pass inspection. Just do it or don't. You seem like the kinda guy that should put the money in the bank instead.
