I am thinking about hosting an Accord meet somewhere in San Antonio, within the near future. There's no cost of course! I'm considering holding it at the old Albertson's off of 151 and Potranco. Maybe. All models and years of Accords will be welcome to this meet, as well as showcars and performance junkies. Hopefully, this won't turn into a sh*# talking meet, but just a get together of fellow Accord owners swapping stories and how-to's about their cars. Yeah I am an ex accord owner but I would still like to show up. I think it should be a honda meeting. I dont know though I bet cops will mess with us like crazy. They dont like us gathering here in san antonio

We can make it an all Honda meet if that's what everyone wants. The more the better. The Albertson's off of Potranco and 151 is closed down, so the parking lot is obviously empty. As far as cops are concerned, they shouldn't bother us as long as we are not racing up and down Potranco and 151 or causing any kind of "disturbance of the peace" (whatever). This isn't the same meet that was talked about anywhere else, but if you are all truly serious about attending, then tell whoever you know that has a Honda to come down. But again, I don't want this thing to end up as a bunch of people **** talking about other peoples cars. I agree with Acclude......Austin is better for everyone in Dallas and only an hour for peeps in SA.....2 1/2 for Houston folks.

I also think that at a park or something would be better. In an Albertson's parking lot we do have to worry about cops. The property is owned by someone and if they call the cops we are all trespassing. ****, in Houston noone called the cops and they still arrested 200+ people I think

Yeah you can take it as a joke because of cops but lets do it on a saterday when cops dont think to be their cops are only their friday I say everyone meets up at the old Albertson's at about 9:00 then form their leave about 11:00 or sooner make sure everyone gets their and go downtown cruzen then eat at dennys after word just some ideas?

used to meet there every week and only once had a problem with cops when one of the guys was flying through the parking lot...

but as long as we stay cool they never bother us there...

its also a more central location for people on either side of the city

If this meet does happen, we can move it to another location. 151 and Potranco was just a suggestion. Blossom Athletic Center sounds like a good location. Not really centralized, but I'd rather drive there than to Naco. But yeah, we would definitely need to this when the cops least expect it. A Saturday night would be good idea. I'm down for meeting from 9p.m. to 11p.m. Hopefully the parking lot is lit; I've never passed by there at night.

 

yeah I say we meet at blossom as well. Cops are dicks out on 151 me and brian can attest to that for sure
