98 civic ex Idle air control valve problem! Which plug do I plug it into?
Hey Ive got a civic with a 98 civic ex auto engine harness in it and I did a D16Z6 swap into it and the only thing I have to do is hook up the idle air control valve. Does anyone know which plug of what color wires i need to be able to hook it up? Let me know. Thanks
what happened to the Y8?
Any way, you may want to consider putting the IM from your Y8 on your Z6. It is a better manifold than what comes on the Z6 and it allows you to run the three wire IACV that is under your throttle body on the Y8. Other wise you would have to run a two wire on the Z6 and i am not sure how to do that while still using the auto ecu.
the wires should be orange, Black with yellow and i can't remember the other color.

The 98 D16Y8 with a MT has a 2-wire IACV (YEL/BLK, BLK/BLU wires), whereas the AT has a 3-wire IACV (YEL/BLK, BLK/BLU, ORN wires).
Hey that's actually really helpful. I have a auto harness that all I need to do is hook up that one plug. Do you know know how to hook up the auto to a manual one? Thanks
