00 si rolling shell worth?
As some of you may know, My 00 Si was stolen back in march and I had plan to restore it but things change. It's been stripped out. What do you guys think it would be worth? I don't really want to part it out.

Here are pics before. I know, so sad......

Depends on your location, I saw a red one stripped pretty much the same way that sold for 500. Just depends on where you are and how scarce they are in your area. I vote to hold onto it and wait till you can afford to put it back together.

I'd say 1000-1500 if the rear suspension/brakes are still there... that thing looks like more than a rolling shell..
How good is the paint remaining on it??? Would someone be able to get away with painting only the new front end parts or would the whole thing need to be resprayeed.
All someone needs to do is find a rear ended Si to rebuild that car... not too hard but many hours needed..
Those thieves were lazy, or really wanted to get rid of the car fast, there are tons of valuable parts left there that would have taken seconds to harvest.

You're looking at around a grand. The fact that it's electron blue helps a bit. If it was black or red, you'd more than likely have a lot harder time selling it. I'd take anything around 1g and just wash your hands of it. There is a LOT of work needed before that car will see the road again.
but to the OP, it really depends where you are located at. like what some stated earlier in the post. theres supply and demand, if your area are in high demand for a Civic Si. Then you may get a bit more for the shell. I remember paying about $1200 for a Civic Si rolling shell. It was in worser condition than yours. But keep the shell, save it until you have money then fix it up. But isnt the insurance suppose to give you money for it?
dude, Looks at the POS car. it not only dont have a motor/tranny,hood,truck,lights,seats,ecu but it has a dam Salvaged title meaning if he does put $5000 into it and trys to sell it again it will still be worth $1500 max with a salvaged title. no one will want it.
The car appears to be in great shape from what i can see. basically you need:
Full swap for motor
Front Clip
Wheels
Interior
Taillights
Steering Column
It all matters how much you love the car. I personally would park it somewhere throw a car cover on it and start piecing everything together piece by piece.
In the end of the day its your decision.

You're a moron. Period. Anything you say now on forward will be disclaim as garbage.
