I would say go with ARP's even though they are more expensive. Personally, I'd feel a little more comfortable having parts from a company that specializes only in fasteners and has a reputation to back it up. I did use Skunk2 extended studs once, they worked ok initially, but they eventually got loose and started to spin in the hub.

ARP times eleventy-billion.

Not that I would use extended studs, unless wheel spacers are being used. Otherwise they're pointless.

OP will you be running wheel spacers? If not, please don't bother with extended studs. Getting them for looks is soooo pointless, and really looks rather stupid. I tend to snicker when I see FWD wheels with no spacers and studs sticking 2"-3" past the wheel face.

If he likes the look, it is his car which he is allowed to mod as he pleases...I would reccommend ARP by the way. The extra bit of money could potentially save you from future headaches, not saying Blox are less reliable, just ARP is more trusted.

My only objection to running extended studs (and no spacer) is the open lugs generally needed for them allowing moisture into the threads. That reason would keep me from using them unless mandated for racing (I've heard some drag guys need to use them for compliance with rules).

I am running the blox studs with no problems. I pressed mine in and then tacked them so there is no way they will come loose. I was given crap at the track for not having them when running slicks.

some tracks wouln't allow you to run slicks without extended studs, but lenso wheels will still work with oem studs. The purpose is to have added strength, not to look "cool"
function over form

At most drag racing evenets, if you are running slicks your wheel stud must be longer than the length of your lug nut and they usually do not allow closed ended nuts.

when it comes to items that have to with stand repeated loads and shear forces always go with ARP! Not the made in china crap that is blox, they just copy everyone else's stuff on the way it looks and then who knows what kind of material they are actually using.

Never had lug nuts come loose on the track huh? If not using extended studs, your wheel will be in front of you the second you realize there's a problem. Extended studs allow the driver to slow down safely before the lug nuts completely leave the studs.

Just use logic man...

if it's a race car or required by a drag strip/race track in order to compete, then yes!

If it's just a street car and you're using good lug nuts properly torqued, then get them for the bling or nothing at all.
