Tools:
36mm Socket
19mm Socket (for lugs only ignore if you have different lugs)
17mm Socket and Wrench
14mm Socket
1/2" Breaker Bar
Ratchet set with extns.
Side Cutters
Needle Nose Pliers
Pry Bars
Big Hammer or a Pickle Fork to seperate Ball Joint
Jack and JACKSTANDS!!
Parts
Outer Joint or Whole Axle (your choice)
Cotter Pin
New Axle Nut
You can either replace that joint only, which is a lil more involved and generally costs only a few bucks less than replacing the whole axle, or replace the entire axle, which is cake.
I recommend you replace the axle. The part will run ab00t ~$75 at your local NAPA or similar store.

Sears will have it cheeeap (36mm) .. like 5.00.. You'll need some 1/2" drive breaker/impact/whatever if you dont though.
Also while you're there get the craftsman pulley-puller. File off the sharp tip on the threaded rod and it works GREAT as a balljoint puller on the Accords heh.. and Mustangs (on the tie rod too). I like using it because generally a pickle style puller will rip the boot unless you're extremly careful... and generally I'm in a rush. Its better than potentially mushrooming the balljoint with a BFH too. With a few twists of a breaker bar it'll pop that joint out in seconds... just becareful not to pinch the boot with the 'tongs'
okay i will edit this since i cant post anymore:
yah that sucker is cranked down to about 160 ft lbs. .. i have never changed an axel without an impact (airtools
) I would find a long pipe and hope your breaker bar doesnt give up the ghost.
