Default Adjusted my Spoon N1

After my friend installed his Spoon N1 on Saturday I immediately noticed his exhaust hung a little higher than mine. His measured 1cm from the bumper to the Spoon N1 tip. Mine was at 2cm from the bumper. His exhaust looked rather pimp.

I was like WTF man the N1 was at the same stock hanger locations but it hung higher. So the next day I figured a way to hang my exhaust higher, 1 mm from the bumper. It looks better now, here is the result.

Doesn't look centered.

Also isn't that close enough to melt the bumper.

The thing ITR owners worry about...

you never drive it hard enough, long enough.

After 20 min on a track.. it WILL MELT. I know... my comptech melted mine.. but only after track use.

I fixed that.. I run open now!!!

Well I'm just warning you because if the judges notice your bumper is melted, you might lose some points.

Nope never tracked it like this yet, but I definately rung it out real good yesterday. It's not touching the bumper it's 1mm - 1.5mm away from it. (probably the angle of the shot)

It doesn't need to be touching the bumper to melt it.

But don't worry about that, you don't track your car.

At sustained high temps is when you will find your bumper melted (which occurs only on the track).

Judges? I don't show my car, I don't go to car shows. I track my car when I can and drive it everyday.

The repositioning is for estetics, but mind you I bought the muffler for better flow and it's lightness over the stock muffler.

However, I will heed to everyone's advise before I track it and will lower the muffler.

Melt the bumper nah, the exhaust tip doesn't get that hot.

I don't know. I sort of like mine hanging in the "stock-like" position. And after seeing pictures of yoshi's m00gen exhaust melting bumpers ... I think I'm going to try to keep my muffraa away from the bumper.

As a rule of thumb you want atleast .5"-.75" of space between the tip and the bumper.
