Nice. Is that a homemade strut bar ?

I wonder how well this kit would work for a 97 EX Accord w/ 97,000 miles on it...

It is a picture, which registers differently in your mind than looking at it in real life.

No it's not that, you really don't have nearly as much room. I noticed that the other day when I was looking at your pic. I think it's because of the manifold.

No its the stock one painted (CL's have them stock)

I put mine on at 110,000 miles

As far as the room up front goes....I think honda extended the accord frame to accept the CL front end. Where the bumper bolts on there are 4-5" extensions welded to the frame. The extensions look exactly like the end of the frame where theyre welded on.

Just guessing, but either way the kits for an Accord so it'll fit.

What year did honda ditch the front mount on the accords? ... that certainly opens up some room (as opposed to my 4th gen anyway). Did they go to two side mounts ala civic/integra?? Wonder If i can retrofit those somehow... I'm having to lose my front mount in my 'custom' turbo project and I'm not totally comfortable with that prospect even though I'm told its a non issue.

Okay since i cant post ARRRG:

I guess i never noticed they had 2 sides.. I guess i'll just make some homemade solid urethane mounts and hope for the best

After re-reading my post and your reply.. i mean front side (like on the civic the A/C compressor mount and mount on the front of the tranny) .. is that what they went to on the newer accords?

Hmmm... how much do you think it'll run me to get a kit like that installed and out the door ?

And how much tuning is involved ? All my friends who've slapped a turbo on and waited to get it tuned blew their motors up..

Install it yourself and its $3600 shipped. Spent $200 for 3 hours of dyno time.

well, if you want some better results, learn something about turbo setups first and then get a custom setup...it's not all that hard of an instalation (but not easy either), it is time consuming, but you will be much happier if you select all the components yourself instead of a pre-fabricated complete kit...
